This dress is from a huge vintage warehouse type place in our city. I loved the print on it because from far away it almost looks like a star pattern, but up close it is actually dots. I also liked the cut and the twist knot and pleating in the front keeps the dress from looking like a maternity outfit while still keeping a flattering empire waistline. Lastly, I like that it is a black and tan/cream color and not a black and white, so I can feel more comfortable wearing it all year long.
I paired the dress with a pair of cute burgundy wedges that I picked up for half price at Goodwill and together, the whole outfit was a total of $17! I won the necklace at a drawing in 2011 at BlogHer, so no cost involved there. It is a cool multi-chain necklace with black and silver ring accents. All I have to do is through on some tights, boots and a sweater when the cold weather comes and this dress is good to go for fall and winter in Florida.
