I really never thought I would like any type of patterned pants. Yet another reason why I like thrifting. When I go thrifting it seems like I try different things that I normally never would have looked at. I am not sure why, but that is how it works for me. Like these plaid patterned pants for instance. They are from Ann Taylor and are really great quality. I loved the cut and fit of them, so I decided to give them a shot. It turns out I loved the pattern to and it is a toned down way to bring out the patterned pants that are so popular now. At only $7, I couldn’t pass them up.
The pants were pairs with a yellow chiffon tank that I got from Forever 21 for $10, a lace top on clearance from Forever 21 for $4.50, a pair of thrifted black pumps with just the tiniest of heels that I picked up for $5 at Goodwill and a flea market find travel themed charm bracelet from the 40′s that I got for only $5. That makes the total cost of today’s outfit $31.50. Not bad at all!
Are you embracing the patterned pants trend this season?

I love this outfit!
Cute. I like the yellow underneath.
Thanks! I just wanted to add a little color to break up the black and I love this color yellow right now.
Again, VERY cute Kathleen! I think you have a real eye for fashion, and you look SO amazing and confident in your photos! I HEART you!
Thanks! I don’t know if I am any good at fashion or not, but I definitely enjoy it.
